An outreach lecture and film screening of the lullaby project that made use of audio materials from the University of the Philippines Center for Ethnomusicology held at Iligan City, Philippines.
The lecture and film screening engaged students in a lively discussion on the function of lullabies and its transmission. It helped them reflect on what was sung to them when they were young, the roots of their family, and the languages spoken in their households.
Activating materials from the archive to come up with audio and visual materials paved a way to close the circle of research to tangible outputs decades after the data was collected.
